Deadline to register is Friday, October 1st
WAND (Women Achieving New Directions) is a (6)
session career development and networking service
offered by the YWCA of Bethlehem. WAND helps
women discover more about themselves, develop job
readiness skills and career confidence, network with
potential employers and think about non-traditional
career opportunities.
At the end of the workshop series women in need of
an interview/career attire will be dressed for success
compliments of the Y Not Clothes Closet.
The Fall 2004 Sessions will take place at the YWCA of
Bethlehem on 22 West Broad Street (next to the
Boyd Theatre) and will last between 1.5 and 2 hours
each. The program is offered free of charge. Deadline
to register is Friday, October 1st. The schedule is as
follows:
Session 1: Taking Charge of Your Career: Identifying
Interests, Skills and Abilities- October 5th at 6pm
Session 2: Broadening Your Sphere of Opportunity-
October 12 at 6pm
