FROM OUR FRIENDS AT College of Biblical Studies-- A New Non-Credit Course: "Introduction to Prison Ministries"
We are pleased to partner with the leadership at Houston's College of Biblical Studies, to assist in the offering of this exciting new non-credit course for pastors and all lay leaders! Dr. Joe Parle, Dean of Academic Affairs, will be teaching this innovative and timely course, assisted by a host of Guest Speakers.
Here's an opportunity to get a first-hand introduction to prison ministry from many of the leaders in the field of effort in Texas. If you are a pastor, it will give you a familiarity with prisons, the Kingdom work going on in them, and the people who are prisoners of their poor choices. This course will give you a new awareness of the opportunity and the need for the Gospel of Jesus Christ inside the walls, and how you might find an avenue of service to those who cannot repay.
