Greetings!
Pres Ron Lacey
Pres Ron

Wow, what a wonderful weekend for the Orange Rotary Club. A substantial number of your

fellow Rotarians came and donated a lot of their weekend to the selling of Beer at our beer booths, and kettle corn at our traditional bank corner.   I do not have the totals yet, but have been assured that this was a great fund raiser for our club. I can not name them all here, but many worked hours a

nd hours. All that came gave as much time as they could. All of you who worked so hard, please ac

cept the sincere thanks from our entire club, and a huge vote of appreciate from me as well.

Thanks to those who signed up to come to the 2012 William H. Spurgeon Award Luncheon on Friday Sept. 14, 2012 at The Irvine Ranch Outdoor Educational Center.   HERE IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO INDICATE YOU WILL COME---- call me today or tomorrow at the latest when you decide to come. I realize the cost is $150.00, but the cause is worthy, and we will be honoring our own William G. Steiner, former County Supervisor. He deserves our best effort.

Finally, our great Rush For The Gold raffle ticket sale has begun.
The sales goal is 1500 tickets. Each of you will be provided 10 tickets so sell, and I know many of you will sell a lot more than that. Bill Cordes has sold 15 already, and I have sold 10 so far.  Honestly, the easiest sales I have ever made. I am sure we can all do a lot better than that. Even a couple of tickets to a few of our friends will do much much more than our goal. Let the selling begin!!!
