Course 111: The Kingdom of God - Lesson #9
12 More Dangerous Leaven we must eliminate!
For the past two days, we have been serving revelations of what constitute dangerous leaven which corrupts preaching of the Gospel of The Kingdom. Today we serve 12 more leavens. Please take heed and ensure that your Kingdom life and beliefs are free of these dangerous elements. God will not change His standards to suit our moods or errors!
#. 12.Misapplication of Matthew 6:33 as referring to the present when it speaks of the future.
It is needful to recall what we shared in a previous lesson. In Matthew 6: 33, Jesus laid down the bottom line for those who will partake of the Kingdom of God: it must be sought first above all else this world can offer. This highly misinterpreted scripture is not speaking of pursuit of the present dimension of the Kingdom (because He was addressing those who had already received Him in their hearts) but the future phase!
It is an invitation to esteem the return of Jesus Christ to set up the Kingdom of God and rule the world above anything else, including our personal convenience and provisions in the present. The second part of the equation is that we must seek it on the solid ground of the righteousness of God! Of that righteousness, the Lord Himself outlined it as the lifestyle of other worldly people and that our values differ from those around us. All the gospels, Acts of the Apostles and the Epistles are written to guide our conduct in this present life. We cannot pick and choose which instructions to obey and which to ignore.
In effect, we receive the Kingdom of God in our hearts when we embrace Jesus Christ as the only way, truth and life and the shedding of His sinless Blood as the basis of our salvation. Luke 17: 20, 21; Acts 3:19-21; Ephesians 2:1-10. If we are truly saved, we live by His grace and not of ourselves. We receive grace to love God unconditionally and obey His commands for godly living in this present life where we are strangers and pilgrims. We work out our salvation with fear and trembling, knowing the cancerous capacity of sin, we do not yield our members to it Philippians 2: 12 - 15; John 14:15; 2 Timothy 3: 16, 17

Dangerous Leaven which corrupts The Kingdom Message continued from yesterday...
#. 7. Demonization of the Church and the term "Christian"
The Church of Jesus Christ was birthed at Pentecost and its dispensation will end at the second coming of Jesus Christ. Every true saint is a member of the Church - whether one acknowledges it or not! You cannot hate the Church and love Jesus Christ. The two are inseparable as the whole New Testament affirms. False religions are all united by their hatred of the Church (really its Christ that they hate). Ephesians chapters 1, 2, 3 and 5 as well as Colossians 1, 2, 3 are recommended for further study. By the same measure, the pseudo kingdom movement has strenuously sought to demonize the word "Christian", a badge of honour for those who truly identify with Jesus Christ and are not ashamed of His testimony Acts 11:26. It is all part of a satanic ploy to destroy what God esteems highly.
The question now is: which one of these red flags have popped up in your spiritual radar? Beloved saints, you have a grave responsibility to hold fast the faith you received in Christ Jesus and build your life on the solid ground of the sure word of God rather than the fanciful theories of men of fertile imagination or satanic doctrines. Matthew 7:13-27 contains guidance on the right basis of growing in grace. Read also the whole of 2 Peter Chapter 3 to understand that the old serpent did not begin today to confuse people about the second coming of Jesus Christ. The God of heaven is also the God of all grace. He will uphold His own and keep them from falling. Our part is to hold fast and contend for the same truth delivered to the saints who walked on earth before us!

The True Kingdom of God: Red Flags of Dangerous Leaven
All glory and honour goes to the Most High God who graciously gave us the benefit of access to His family by the Blood that Jesus Christ shed at the Cross of Calvary and sealed us with the Holy Spirit of promise unto the day of final redemption! Of that ultimate redemption we eagerly wait in bated breath according to the sure word in Hebrews 9:28. Yet we do not wait in idleness as the charge of the captain of our salvation is to occupy, till He returns Luke 19:11-27. Our King is coming back soon and His rewards are with Him. We thus have a compelling opportunity to renounce every lifestyle, activity and attachment to the perishing system of this present world, knowing assuredly that though we live here, we are strangers and pilgrims, yes, Ambassadors for Christ herein. Our lives and purposes must provide a clear pointer to the superiority of He who is in us than he who is in those around us 1 John 4:4-5; 1 John 5:4-5.
We are urged by Jude verse 3 to contend earnestly for this faith once delivered to the saints. The reason we are urged to contend is that Satan has seized hold of the imaginations of people who once believed and fed them visions and dreams which negate the very essence of our redemption and the purpose of God thereto. Matched with such fertile imagery, these apostates are craftily at work, targeting souls to lead astray. The good news for the elect is that God knew we would live in this day and age of gross darkness and massive falling away. That is why He gave us His word and preserved it at great expense including the blood of faithful saints which were spilled in the process.
We are also secure in the fact that the Holy Spirit is present within us to tell us doctrines that are of God and those that are of demons and reprobate men. 1 John 2: 18 - 27 captures the essence of what the anointing does in our inner witness regarding truth and error.
