The Jubilee Deal (2): 

The Jubilee Time line continued...

Yesterday, we shared an 8 point plan of the time line leading to the  national Jubilee which was celebrated every 50 years in Israel. That was merely a shadow of the real deal which would come in the form of the incarnation, life, death, resurrection and enthronement of the unique personality and God-Man, Jesus Christ through whom mankind would experience ultimate redemption from Satan, Sin and the consequences of fall of Adam & Eve. We continue the Jubilee saga today...

9. In the Wilderness, God gave Israel the 10 Commandments and various ordinances of life which would make them a peculiar people unto Him, different from the nations of the world Exodus 20:1-17;  Deuteronomy 28:1-14. Moses, the vessel He used to give the Law was a man whose love of God was so great that he could hardly bear the stiff neckedness of the people. In the process of responding to their murmurings, unbelief and rebellious attitude, Moses fell short of the glory of God and was called home.  Before he died, Moses had clearly told Israel that God would from the stock of Abraham raise a peculiar Prophet through whose words the entire dynamics of relationship between them and God would be based Deuteronomy 18:15,18,19. To Joshua, a different type of leader, God gave the privilege of leading Israel into the Promised Land.  

10. In the Promised Land of Canaan, God for a season functioned as their King ruling through human Judges. Whenever the people obeyed the precepts of God, they enjoyed His benefice represented by rest and peace, defeating all manner of nations who came up against them. When they regressed into sin, they lost wars and suffered oppression. In manifestation of their rebellious nature, the nation God had chosen to lead personally desired to have a King like other nations. Samuel the Prophet and Judge warned them of the consequences of their choice but their mind was made up 1 Samuel 8:4-22. God gave them the kind of personality they desired - Saul - who had a great physical presence but was short on love of God and principles of the Kingdom. When Saul failed, God raised up a man after His own heart, David and promised that out of his lineage, there would arise one with whom and through whom the Kingdom of God would be established and ordered. God was not speaking of the human descendants of David for there were more venal and wicked successors in that lineage than righteous ones. Even Solomon the one who found great favour with God ended badly, with 1000 wives and concubines and almost drowned in vanity which he preached against!

11. The personality that was to come out of the lineage of David had first been prophesied by God Himself at Eden when Adam and Eve fell in Genesis 3:15. In several passages, David spoke of this unique personality as the inspiration of the Holy Spirit came upon Him Psalm 2; Psalm 110. Various vessels were subsequently used to prophesy His miraculous birth, life and death including Isaiah 7:14-16; Isaiah 9:6-7; Isaiah 53; Isaiah 61:1-3. The entire history of the world, not just Jews would be hinged on the coming of this unique personality.

12. The Person upon who the entire history of the human race would hinge was no other person than Yeshua (Jesus from an English derivation of the Greek word Jesu). We will therefore zoom in on Him to understand who He is, why He was incarnated; His core assignment on earth as the Pass over Lamb and source of Jubilee for the redeemed and how He rules the hearts of those who have received Him and shows up through them. We will also share the fact that His return will permanently alter the course of humanity as He inaugurates the future phase of the Kingdom of God right here on earth for 1,000 years before the commencement of endless eternity when the new heavens and earth will be inaugurated. Tomorrow, we begin to excerpt details of this remarkable personality who is both God and Man drawn from the revelation we downloaded from the Throne Room, GSoM 102: Understanding Jesus Christ. This revelation is critical because a brand new generation of  very vocal ministers are on the global scene,  armed with a new theology which denies the divinity of Jesus while another subset says He has already returned. These two sets constitute what is called the pseudo-Kingdom movement!

The Lord is visiting the redeemed in a way that will bring to the fore their separation from the world in this end time! Your case shall be different! Rejoice and Leap for Joy because you are part of the Kingdom of God! God has not appointed you to wrath!
