General Prayer Focus for Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1

 

Thank you for consenting to join saints across the world to participate in the Global Jubilee Kingdom Fasting and Prayer Project. We believe it is important to prepare properly, hence this briefing note.

 

These two days will be used to achieve two principal outcomes:

  • Saturday, March 31: Conviction and Repentance from every sin in the House of God as we start with ourselves and move on to intercede for all saints. This will bring cleansing and place saints on a sure footing to secure all the blessings of Jubilee. Core scriptures: Psalm 66:18; Proverbs 28:13; 2 Corinthians 7:8-11. All who wish to be mightily used of God during this fast are advised to forgive ALL who have sinned against you in any way and furthermore to write off some debts fellow saints owe you which they cannot repay. Please read Matthew 6:12-15; Mark 11:22-24
  •  
  • Sunday, April 1: Re-consecration of our entire beings and ALL resources including Life, Time, Wealth, Health, Relationships and abilities to the Glory of God for His Exclusive use as our Creator, Father, King. In other words, a commitment to seek first the Kingdom and its righteousness by all saints all over the world. Matthew 6:19-34.

It is suggested that according to Isaiah 58:6-12, ministries and individuals participating in this Fast take an offering this weekend and use it to bless the poor in your neighbourhood or elsewhere.

 

Explanatory Notes

 

2012 has been widely accepted as the year of Divine Government. This means saints are open to the Lordship of Jesus over their lives so that by the Holy Spirit we can live totally submitted to His Rule, under His Authority. This fasting and prayer program is borne out of a leading to bring saints in alignment with the will and purpose of God so that the awesome sacrifice of Jesus at the Cross of Calvary can be fully appropriated. It is possible that you as an individual are walking the Kingdom walk the way God ordained.  However, the Kingdom is one and what affects our brethren affects all of us. We therefore call on all saints to emulate Daniel who stood effectively in the gap for Israel even though his life was right with God! You alone can make the difference as Jeremiah 5:1 and Ezekiel 22:30 show.

 

What we need to effectively deal with during part of this fast.

 

This overview will help us maintain unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace so that our prayers - from Across Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, South America, The Island nations of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and the nations in Oceania will be in one accord thus fulfilling Matthew 18:19-20.

 

Confession: We confess and proclaim that Jesus is our Jubilee and He came to destroy the yoke of Satan over the redeemed and all his dark works including sin, disease, poverty and evil.  1 John 3:4-9; John 10:10; Acts 10:38

 

In all the issues raised below, please start with yourself. Allow the Holy Spirit to search you and deal with any sin or issue He convicts you of so that the prayers will not be said in hypocrisy or as a religious exercise. Psalm 139:23, 24. We then come in humility before God to reject, renounce, repent of and obtain freedom for ourselves and all saints across the world from any, some or all of these works of darkness:

  1. Intercede earnestly for divine intervention: Life of sin and lack of victory over temptations of Satan and his agents that is causing many saints to struggle with holiness. War against the spirit of immorality behind sexual sins, lust, pornography, indecent exposure, lewdness
  2. Intercede earnestly for change: Lack of love and Unity which are the core characteristics of the redeemed John 13:34, 35; John 17: 1-21. Pray that there will emerge an understanding of how fundamental these virtues are as proof that saints are indeed in Christ.
  3. Intercede Earnestly for divine intervention: Life in the flesh which makes saints live for their belly; labouring for the food that perishes and in the process, living opposite to what Jesus commanded which is to seek first the Kingdom and its righteousness, trusting God for supply of all their needs. John 6: 27; Matthew 6:19-34; Romans 14:17-18
  4. Intercede earnestly: That saints will understand the power of the consecrated life which worships God in truth and Spirit based on death to self. Romans 12:1-2; Matthew 16:24-26.
  5. Intercede for change: Ineffective witness where saints lack the boldness and zeal to share their faith with friends, family, colleagues, neighbours
  6. Satanic oppression over lives, health, wealth and goodness which are inheritance of saints which make many saints to live in misery. John 10:10
  7. War against: The spirit of fear, insecurity, worry, anxiety, jealousy, envy, backbiting and unfaithfulness that are invading the House hold of Faith. Consequently, many saints cannot work together and are unable to be truly integrated in various fellowships and ministries.
  8. War against: Poverty that affects ability of many saints to meet basic needs and constrain many ministries such that they are unable to fulfil the divine purpose. Intercede for all saints to begin to enjoy their inheritance in Christ and the Blessings of the Father.
  9. War against: Failures in Life Endeavours: Marriage, Relationships, Education, Career, Business, Ministry. Intercede earnestly for brothers and sisters who are old enough to get married and it has not happened yet. Declare that 2012 will be the acceptable year when God will set the solitary in families.
  10. War Against: Wastage of divine resources by multitude of saints who have not discovered their God given spiritual gifts, callings and are not living as functional members of the Body of Christ. Ephesians 4:7,16; 1 Peter 4:10-11
  11. War against: The spirit of Nimrod which seeks to possess servants of God to gather crowds of people unto themselves and around them as cannon fodder for making money and building religious corporations based on worldly models. Let us rise as one to resist this spirit which acts as a covering cast so that saints do not behold and have healthy personal relationships with God and are content to gain approval from human vessels.
  12. War against: The resurgence of many ministers into the Levitical priesthood which seeks to be mediator between Abba and His Children. This priesthood was fulfilled and done away with the offering of Jesus as the perfect Lamb of God. We need to resist and pull down all the ordinances which make a few humans a professional clergy while saints are a docile laity. Let us intercede that all saints will walk in their Melchizedeck priesthood as the Kingdom of Priests we are!
  13. War against:  The onslaught of powers of darkness against the Body of Christ. Call be name manifestations of satanic activity including witches, wizards, warlocks, spirits of divination masquerading as prophecy. Come against all covens on the land, in the waters and in the atmosphere and decree the power of the Blood of Jesus against all satanic conclaves.
