Summer BBQ August 2012 The summer BBQ is always a fun event where growers, vintners, friends, and neighbors from the Petaluma Gap get together each August to celebrate the bounty of our beautiful community. This year's BBQ at Rockin H Ranch was a huge success with over 80 people attending.

Since it is a potluck, everyone contributed a side dish and a bottle (or two) of Petaluma Gap wine to share, while Jim Griffin of Griffin's Lair fired up the grill to cook succulent rabbit and sausage. President Paul Clary gave a welcome speech and provided an update on future events.

Everyone enjoyed tasting the wonderful wines of the Gap, with a large showing of our signature grapes: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and cool climate Syrah.

Keeping Track of Changing Wine Regions

Everyvine has launched new wine region pages that provide current data on the vineyards, wineries, available winegrapes, and top performing wines of the various wine regions in the United States. The new pages bring together a wealth of information to give industry and wine consumers a more complete overview of all the players in a wine region. Everyvine also has a wide range of stock and custom wine region maps available for purchase. And check out the great page on the Petaluma Gap! There are 71 Petaluma Gap vineyards currently listed on Everyvine. Check to make sure yours is there, and if it's not, add it for free!
