Black Bear Rescue and Relocation
"The Environmental Police Officers included me in the capture of the Cape Cod Black Bear so that they could safely relocate him to bear territory where he can find other bears to live a healthy and happy life. Their decision to capture and relocate came after they received information that many different people were actively searching for him in the woods and they felt not only was this detrimental to the animal but also a safety concern for him and the people trying to locate him. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. I have had the opportunity to have some incredible experiences as an Animal Control Officer but this one is by far the most epic so far."
- Lorial Russell, Animal Control Officer
