 The glass Armonica was invented by Ben Franklin and is a series of nested glasses which play sustained chords. Carolinn Skyler has the largest one in the world and has played in concerts throughout the US and Germany. She will be at the COA on Tuesday, January 24th at 1:30, following the COA Luncheon. Cultural Council Grants
The Truro Cultural Council met in December to review grant applications for 2012. Thirteen grants totaling in excess of $5,000 were approved out of a total of 22 applications received. Awardees are being invited to present a short summary of their projects at a reception open to the public on Jan 30, at 5:30pm at the Truro Public Library.
