     September in Truro ... probably the best month ... average highs of 70 and lows of 55. Great month for plant growth. Days will get another hour shorter, and average rainfall is close to 3 inches, on a par with August.

Road Closures - Sunday, Sept. 4th - 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Truro Center Road will allow limited access traffic from 9AM-4:30PM due to the large number of pedestrians in the area as a result of the Truro Agricultural Fair. Much of Truro Center Road will be "pedestrian only". South Pamet Road, from the Pamet off-ramps to Truro Center Road, will be closed. This area will be heavily congested. Bus Routes through Truro Center will be uninterrupted. Please carpool or take the CCRTA Shuttle. If parking, there is a limited amount of parking along the sides of the street. Please respect homeowners and businesses in the area and do not park in unauthorized places.    
School Safety Zone
Please help ensure the safety of all the users of the Truro Central School by observing the reduced speed in the school zone on Route 6. Remember, the speed on Route 6 is reduced to 20 MPH while school is in session.  More..
