     This is the second edition of our new Truro eNewsletter, created by a volunteer group of townspeople and sponsored by the Board of Selectmen.

     Our goal is to make it easier for everyone to stay connected to what's happening here in Truro.  Warm fall days mean Truro is still buzzing with activity.

Cape Cod National Seashore
Cape Cod National Seashore offers free bird walks in Truro during October.  Join a naturalist for a bird walk at Pilgrim Heights or High Head, while enjoying the surrounding dune and heathland landscapes.  More...
Castle Hill
See The Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill's fall programming schedule, as well as The Sixth Annual Provincetown Dance Festival on October 22 and 23 at the Provincetown Dance Theatre.   More... 
Truro Community Education Classes
Classes begin the week of October 11th.  Registration is required.  Classes include Poetry Workshops, Yoga, Knitting, Geology, Creative Journaling, Tapestry, Astrology, Fitness and many more.

Among the many COA activities, a featured artist is Bonnie Steele McGhee in the COA gallery during the month of October.  More...
Cultural Grants Available
The Truro Cultural Council will provide grants to help fund cultural activities during 2011.  The deadline for grant applications is October 15, 2010.  More...

Truro Agricultural Fair
Ag FairThe Truro Ag Fair took place on September 5th.  Thousands attended the old-fashioned Country Fair. 
The Truro Group - Art Exhibition
The Truro Public Library displayed works by 28 of the more than 60 artists that are Truro Group members.   More...  
Historical Society 
The 2010 season for the Highland House Museum was most notable for the installation of the first phase of "Truro Archaeology.....A Hand's On Exhibition."
