ThisMonthThis month in Truro...

Welcome to the first edition of our new Truro e-newsletter, created by a volunteer group of townspeople and sponsored by the Board of Selectmen.

Our focus in this special edition is on the upcoming road closures created by the second annual Truro Agricultural Fair, scheduled for this Sunday, Sept 5.  But we have also included some reminders of the many other activities that make September on the Outer Cape such a magic time.

Next month, with our inaugural issue, we hope to bring you much more:  headlines of the latest Truro news, updates on the activities on the town's various boards, plus a calendar of town events.   Our goal is to make it easier for everyone to stay connected to what's happening here.

We'll need your help to succeed.  Won't you forward this newsletter to your friends so they, too, can subscribe in advance?  Or consider lending us a hand with writing or editing.  And let us know what you would like to see in future issues, too.

Thanks for your interest.  Our goal over the next few months is to become must reading for all of us who love the town of Truro.

Truro Treasures - weekend September 17-19

Truro Treasures has evolved and expanded into an annual fall weekend event that is crammed full of activities.  This year's theme is "Nature's Wonders".
If we missed a Truro event that should have been included, we apologize.  We are just getting our "sea-legs", and often have to rely on you to let us know about news and events that would be of interest to much of Truro.  Please let us know your news, comments and suggestions.

Sincerely,
Brian Boyle, Editor, and the Truro eNewsletter Team
