Hello ~
Accessories!
Home decorating accessories are personal touches that you add to your home that tell a story about you and create a feeling of warmth and coziness. First, look through your home and gather what you already own then group these pieces together by theme, material, or color. (A group always makes a stronger statement than displaying each piece individually around your home.) This will help you decide what you are missing. In choosing new accessories, always look for pieces that reflect your personality.
Here are some great ideas for personal accessories: Gather a collection of family photographs and enlarge them - then put them in frames of different sizes and arrange them on the same wall in a unique way.
Use decorative toss pillows to convey a sense of comfort to a room. Feel free to try a mix of patterns, fabrics, and pillow sizes.
Display a collection in a shadow box and hang it on the wall. This is a wonderful attention-grabber and adds depth to a room.
Place small decorative boxes throughout your home on tables or shelves for added dimension.

Oxford Contractors Tip of the Week Choosing a contractor is the most important thing to consider during a remodel, addition, home update, and new build project. This will set the tone for the entire project and will save you time, money, and headaches. Some tips for choosing a contractor. Questions
How will you protect my property during the construction? What does the contractor expect of their employees and subs at the site? Parking, dress, etc Does the contractor have a current list of referrals? Has the contractor worked in your neighborhood/subdivision? How long has the contractor been in business or construction industry? Is the contractor a BBB member? This really speaks to how they operate their company and conduct business! Is the contractor is a member of a construction association group, such as NARI, NKBA, or GHBA? What warranties do you offer? Observations to notice
Are they professional, organized, timely, and respectful? Do they answer questions clearly and with facts? How are the quotes provided? Detailed or vague - Are they really listening to me (client)? Remember a contractor will be in your home and must show the utmost respect for your family, property and time.
