Please Help Nakali Consulting Receive 250 Votes To Qualify For A $250,000 Grant!
I just submitted a grant proposal at Mission: Small Business. If awarded the grant, I will be able to:
- Set up a computer lab to provide computer training and technical assistance in multiple languages, so more providers are able to use technology, both in their business systems, and to access the resources, professional development ,and marketing opportunities available to them on-line.
- Work with family child care associations to create an on-line presence, including websites, E-newsletters and social media strategies to help them with outreach, building membership, advocacy, and making resources and professional development opportunities available to their membership.
- Help providers market their programs through "Selling Play" workshops and materials that teach providers how to market their family child care programs by helping parents make the connection between play and learning - talking about what the children are learning through play and the daily routines and experiences provided in high quality family child care programs.
- Offer social media marketing and design services to providers.
To qualify for a $250,000 Grant, Nakali Consulting needs at least 250 votes on the Mission: Small Business page.
Please vote for us using the link below and ask others to vote for us as well!
Go to Missionsmallbusiness.com Look for the "Log in and support" button near the bottom of the page. After clicking "Support", look for our business (Nakali Consulting) and vote for us!
*You have to click on the support button first because Chase and Living Social donate $5 for each person.
* You must have a Facebook account to vote. If you don't have a Facebook account but want to help, please pass the link on to your friends and ask them to vote.
Thanks so much for your support!

There are a lot of resources available to providers
on-line.
Actually, there is so much information, and so many resources out there that sometimes it can be overwhelming, and sifting through it all can be frustrating and time consuming.
The Family Child Care Academy is a place where providers can find handouts and materials, articles, videos and links to websites, resources and information on all things family child care, including business, child development, curriculum and environments, training and professional development, as well as public policy and future trends in the industry.
