At ASCA 2012 in Dallas, AmkaiSolutions held a contest for a free license and half-priced license for the AmkaiCharts EMR system.

New Web-based Physician Portal

AmkaiSolutions was excited to launch a new web-based portal at ASCA 2012. TheAmkaiSolutions Physician Portal provides ASC physicians and their practices with remote access to key surgery center data and reports.
The Portal is accessible through the AmkaiSolutions website at www.amkai.com. The ASC will issue logins and customizable permissions to the portal to their surgeons and staff. Portal users will gain access to a wide variety of features and reports, including the ASC's surgery schedule, the ability to request surgical appointments, and billing information on the procedures surgeons performed at the ASC, including dates of service, code diagnosis and modifier codes.
Upcoming releases of the portal will feature valuable additional tools and resources for surgical practices. This includes plans to replace all paper/manual workflow-based activities between ASCs and their surgeons' practices with web-based automation.
