Greetings!

VCS HAS SCHOOL THIS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. The calendar committee voted to have the week of October 22nd - 26th off in- lieu of the state in-service days. School will be business as usual this October 4th and 5th.

Pre movie events include concessions, live music, games, and community building! Pack your whole family up and join us on the field for dinner and a movie! The movie is FREE! Invite friends and families to join you in the wonderful family event! The PFA will be selling hot dogs for $1.00, Potato Bar for $2.00, Popcorn for .50, Soda for .50, Cotton Candy for $1.00, and hot Chocolate for $1.00. Thank you to the PFA for hosting this amazing evening of fun!

SPIRIT WEAR
Vision Charter School Spirit Wear t-shirts will be sold for $10.00 at the family movie night. Students may wear this shirt on Fridays without donating a dollar.

November lunches

Window to order lunches, via orderlunches.com website, is October 12th - October 26th. Payment can be made by sending cash or check to the office no later than October 30th.

One common mistake being made is forgetting to complete the check out process. If you do not end the process with an "Order Confirmation" screen, then you still have items in your shopping cart. I cannot see any order on my side until you have finished the check out process.

If a student is going to be tardy, please call the office at 208-455-9220 by 8:30 a.m. If we have not heard from you by then, we will assume the child is going to be absent and will cancel their lunch.

If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Knapp at 208-455-9220 or by email sheree.knapp@visioncsd.org.

YEARBOOK:

Any parents that returned yearbook orders without payment have until Friday, Oct. 5th to pay for their orders. Yearbook orders not paid by Friday, will be billed an additional $2.00 fee. The HS yearbook is $30 and MS yearbook is $18. Checks should be payable to VCS and please note HS or MS on the memo portion. Students can bring payments to Mr. Boothby in building H2.

STATE ASSESSMENTS:

VCS is excited to be in the top 12% of all schools in Idaho for Excellence in academics based on 2011-2012 ISAT scores! VCS staff have also qualified for State Pay for Performance based on being in the top quartile for excellence and growth! Way to go students and staff!
