Volunteers Needed for Picture Day: Mrs. Knapp is looking for two volunteers per day to assist her with managing the picture days. Volunteers will be entitled to a FREE picture package for their service. Please contact Mrs. Knapp at sheree.knapp@visioncsd.org if you would be interested in assisting with picture day.

PFA:

The next PFA meeting will be Thursday, September 6th at 6:30 p.m. in room M4. Come be a part of this fantastic group that supports the students, parents, and staff of VCS! 

GROUNDBREAKING:

The Ground Breaking Celebration is officially scheduled for Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 6 p.m. on the field! All parents, students, staff, patrons, partners, and stakeholders are invited to join us for this event! VCS Open House will also be held on September 20th. The gathering to break the "ground" will be at 6 p.m. on the field! The picture will be taken at exactly 6:15 p.m. on the VCS field!  Cake and juice will be served after the picture. Come join us for this historic event!

BUS TO THE YMCA!

Vision Charter School is offering bus transportation after school to the YMCA for members of the YMCA. Interested parents MUST get the form from the YMCA, have the YMCA validate the form that the child is a member, and then the form must be brought back to the school prior to any student being allowed to ride the bus to the YMCA. These rules are strictly enforced by the YMCA, Caldwell Transportation, and VCS. This is an amazing opportunity. Please go the YMCA to pick up the form.  Children must be enrolled in a YMCA youth activity or at least 10 years old to ride the bus and take advantage of this opportunity.

We are so excited to have our first high school swim team! The team is coached by Scott Stritikus and assisted by Kara Evans and Jason Knapp.

HOT LUNCHES

All Lunches are ordered using orderlunches.com website. The window to order lunches is the same every month - the 12th - 22nd of the month prior.

The cost for lunch is $2.85/regular price or $0.75/reduced price. You may also have the option of ordering a-la-carte milk at $0.40/day.

For those parents who are new to our school, you will need to register on the orderlunches.com website. To set up an account, you will need to follow these simple instructions:

Reminder: If your child is going to be tardy, please contact the office by 8:30 a.m.  If you do not, we will assume your child will be absent, and will cancel the hot lunch.

Caldwell Fine Arts

Caldwell Fine Arts is having a benefit race on September 8th to raise money for Educational Outreach Programs. Please see the attached PDF flyer for additional information. A kid's race has been added this year for only $5 per child. Come join in the fun!
