Greetings!

We are excited to offer, for the first time, a school lunch program beginning fall 2011/2012 school year!  We know  many of you have been anticipating this program and we are thrilled to be able to deliver!  Over the summer we will be adding another portable that and one side of it will be used for a lunch room.

The food will be prepared off site by Oasis Food Service and they will bring the food to our school daily in warming containers and stay to serve it.  Their food is filling, delicious, and offers a wide variety!

A free and reduced applicaiton has been provided in both .doc and pdf formats for your convenience.  You may fill-out, save and then attach in an email the .doc version, or print, fill out and mail or hand deliver the pdf version.    Please read the instructions on the front page for information about how to complete the application.  Applications cannot be approved if required information is missing.  We encourage all households to read the information carefully and to apply if you think you might qualify.  It will help us get additional funding for the school!

Please return this form by August 2, 2011 to get it approved before school starts.  If completed forms are received after August 2, 2011, your child(ren) may not be able to participate in the program the first several days of school.

DATES TO REMEMBER

JUNE 24th --- VCS ROARING SPRING DAY!

July 4, 2011 --Come and join a group of Vision Charter staff, parents, and students who will be participating in Middleton's 4th of July parade.  The theme of the parade is An Old Fashioned 4th. We will be dressing in old-fashioned outfits. A mix of outfits from different time periods should be fun. If you have a small flag you can wave, please bring it.  We will have some you can use, also.  You can pull your kids in wagons or push them in a wheelbarrow.  We will be walking with a Vision Charter Banner.  We need two children/adults to carry the banner or we could trade off during the parade.  If you would like to participate, or just have questions, please e-mail Jan Ayotte at janayotte@gmail.com.  We will meet at Mill Creek Elementary at 10:00 a.m. on the morning of the 4th.  Look for a pink scooter with sidecar.
