Dear Parents:

                You are invited to join the staff and students of Vision Charter School on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 1 p.m. on the field for a celebration of the life of Darrell Downam.  Mr. Downam passed on from this life on May 6, 2011.  For those of you who may not know, Darrell handled all of our IT needs at the school.  He always had a smile on his face and his quick wit and sense of humor kept us all laughing.  Darrell was admired and loved by all students and faculty members.  He was a wonderful man and we will all greatly miss him. 

On Monday at 1:00 p.m. many students and staff will be sharing songs and memories of Darrell's time at Vision Charter School. Kindergarten and first grade students will sing a song in tribute to Mr. Downam and then return to their classrooms for the remainder of the day.
