Greetings!

The first week of ISAT testing ended with students scoring way above state averages! The fifth grade students scored 91% Proficient or Advanced in Science! The third grade students scored 91% proficient or advanced in Language Arts.  Fourth grade scored 92.5% proficient or advanced in Language Arts! Mrs. Wilkins class scored 98% proficient or advanced in Language Arts on Friday. These scores are based on students who have been enrolled in the teacher's classroom for a minimum of 90% of the school year. Please continue to partner with us in ensuring every child is able to do their very best work! Please ensure your child is getting plenty of sleep, eating a balanced breakfast, and bringing a snack and water bottle to school on testing days.

Please make every effort to have your children to school on time for testing days. Some students take longer than others to complete the test as it is untimed.  It is very important to attempt to reschedule any appointments that children may have on testing days. We are unable to stop the test and have children restart it the next day.

We are committed to producing well educated, respectful, citizen leaders! Thank you for being partners with us in this journey! As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns you are encouraged to contact your child's teacher through e-mail which is found on the website. You may also contact me through e-mail at wendyroldenkamp@msn.com or call me on my cell at 919-9636 or at school at 455-9220.
