Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast:
The Nampa Sunrise Rotary is doing a pancake breakfast fund raiser for Vision Charter RAD students. It will be on April 9th from 8-10a.m. at VCS! Please invite neighbors and relatives and come enjoy a wonderful breakfast. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased in the office or from any 4th, 5th, or 6th grade student at Vision Charter School. Please contact Mrs. Ellis if you would like to help with logistics for this event or donate any paper plate, cups, napkins, or plastic ware.

Class pictures for K-6th graders will be taken on Friday, April 8th. Kindergarteners may also have their individual pictures taken in their graduation cap and gown!

DRAMA
Drama needs your help! We are very excited about presenting Three Little Blind Bears Gruff (mixed-up fairytale) and Tom Sawyer the musical next Tuesday, April 12Th. However, we are in need of some props that might be in your garage or storage unit. If we could borrow some of these items, please bring them to the school (either to the office or my room, H2) by Friday, April 8Th. The item will then be ready for you to pick up by Wednesday, April 13th! Prop Needs: Picket or other wooden fencing (5-6 feet total would be nice) Fake tombstones, such as one sees in yards at Halloween A podium (for a speaker) Newspaper bags (canvas over-the-shoulder kind for delivery) Bamboo, or other such poles that we could lash together for a raft Decorative bridge (yard-sized would be perfect) Wooden folding chairs Blue tulle or other fabric for water Remember, tickets go on sale Monday in the office and will be good for both shows: 5:30 p.m. Three Little Blind Bears Gruff and 7:00 p.m. Tom Sawyer the Musical. $5 for individuals and $15 for families

CONGRATULATIONS!
Layla Merrick, participating for Advanced Gymnastics, Nampa, finished 7th in the 2011 Idaho State Gymnastics Championships level 6 junior B division with an All Around score 0f 34.5. Layla also collected an uneven bar championship with a score of 8.75.
Summer Merrick, participating for Advanced Gymnastics, Nampa, finished 2nd in the 2011 Idaho State Gymnastics Championships level 7 junior D division with an All Around score 0f 35.225. Summer also collected a balance beam championship with a score of 9.0 and a 2nd place finish in the uneven bars. She will be competing at the Regional Championships in April.
