CANNED FOOD DRIVE Starts November 1st!  Food will be given to needy families at VCS. Students may take the canned foods to his/her classroom daily. Boxes will be provided by the VCS Student Government Class.

We are looking for eight families who are needing support this holiday season with food. If your family has lost your housing and are living with another family or relative to make ends meet, please contact Mrs. Oldenkamp at wendyroldenkamp@msn.com.

If you or your spouse has been laid off or lost your job and your family is struggling to make ends meet, please notify Mrs. OldenKamp at wendyroldenkamp@msn.com. Your request for support will be kept confidential.

 A Fun, Fantastic, Fall Festival, performed by kindergarten and 1st grade:
Nov. 2 at 11:30 in the music room (C2)
Nov. 3 at 1:00 in the music room (C2)
Please plan on attending only one performance in order to give all who want to attend the opportunity to have a seat.  Older siblings wishing to watch may be checked out by parents for the program and then checked back in to school after the program.  We look forward to seeing you there.   
 
 
Come join the celebration on NOV 5th as VCS students celebrate the classic novel, Wind in the Willows. Students are invited to dress as a character from the book to culminate the study of this novel. Watch for additional information from your child's classroom teacher.
