You are invited to attend Vision Charter School's Middle and High School Open House this Thursday, September 16, 2010.

**Title 1 informational meeting will be rescheduled for October. **

The night will start at 5:00pm at the basketball for a quick whole group informational session.

Parents will move from room to room for informational sessions presented by Middle and High School Staff. Sessions include: 5:15-5:30, 5:35 -5:50, 5:55 - 6:10, and 6:15-6:30.  The final session is in your child's homeroom from 6:35-7pm.

Sessions will include:

·         Mrs. Mitchell in H2 discussing the CORE binder and organization system and Agenda requirements.

·         Mr. George and Mrs. Samuelson will be in I2 training parents on the homework blog, homework and late work policies.

·         Mrs. Collins and Mrs. OldenKamp will be in H1 discussing grading and absence policies, credit recovery, and Social Events!

·         Mr. Scheffler, Mrs. Ballenger, and Mr. Leavell will be in H1 discussing After School Clubs, after school Art Lessons, and Intramural Sign Ups.

From 6:30-7pm you may visit the following rooms:

·         Mrs. Ballenger will be in H1 to talk to Art parents!

·         Mrs. Ellis will be in C1 to talk to Symphony parents!

·         Mrs. OldenKamp will be in I1 to talk to Student Government and Leadership Parents.

·         Mrs. Collins will be in I1 to talk to Math Counts parents.

·         Mrs. Burton will be in I2 to talk to Math Tutorial Parents.

·         Mrs. Mitchell will be in H2 to talk to Intro to Tech and Drama students.

Student Government will have a bake sale! Bring your spare change!

Due to the large number of parents coming through the informational sessions, we humbly request that you fill out the request for communication card located at the entrance to every classroom. Please put your name, unanswered question or concern, and the best way to reach you. If you know which staff member the question is directed to, please place that information on the card, too. We will quickly get back to you with the answer! You are so important to us! Together we can partner to make certain every child at VCS reaches their full potential and successfully masters the material presented to them.
