Middle and High School Students! Back to School Night has just turned up the heat!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We have hired a professional DJ to help our students celebrate the
start of a new year! The music starts at 5:00pm sharp! You will be able
to get your schedule, pay any fees for art, science, or symphony
associated with your schedule, sign up and pay for drama, advanced
guitar, or choir if desired, pick out your locker and locker buddy,
put away your supplies, pick up your yearbook, and head outside for
face painting, dessert, and DANCE LESSONS! Official dance lessons start
at 5:15pm. Students will be able to learn a variety of dances and
participate in fun activities prior to the start of the dance!
The "official dance" will get rolling at 6:15pm after the lessons!
Thanks to our amazing staff, the dance will last until 8pm! Don't
forget your parents and their check books! Parents are invited to
leave the students at the school from 5:30pm - 8:00pm! Please remember
to sign them in and out for safety reasons. (For those of you who are
completely dance phobic, we will have board games available and plenty
of opportunities to just sit and talk with new and old friends!)
CALLING ALL INTERNS! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The following students have not yet spoken to
their Cooperating Teacher to coordinate the pre school Intern hour
requirement of 8 hours. Due to the late notice, if you are unable to
fulfill your eight hours of service before school starts, please work
with them to identify eight hours to serve the teacher after school
hours during the first quarter. An internship is a fabulous opportunity
for your child to develop a strong reference letter for future
scholarships or job applications. Students who successfully complete
the internship will be given a letter of recommendation from their
cooperating teacher which will outline the job skills and traits
evidenced during the year. Students are striving to earn recognition
for being responsible, reliable, self motivated, a hard worker,
flexible, trustworthy, strong communication skills, always doing their
best, works well with others, and takes direction well. Students will
also be working to develop specific job related skills such as
technology skills, working with students, data entry, attention to
detail, and organizational skills. We are excited to offer this
opportunity to our exceptional ninth and tenth grade students. Please
contact the teacher directly to discuss the times that would work best
for them on Monday or Tuesday or a later time if needed. Please contact
me at wendyroldenkamp@msn.com if you have additional questions. 10th graders: Cooperating Teacher Cooperating Teacher's e-mail: Caterina G. -- Mrs. Mitchell ms/hs bodaciousbeckybabe@yahoo.com Amber R. - Mrs. McDorman- 4th grade princesshairylegs@gmail.com Erin A. -- Mrs. Ayotte- 4th grade janayotte@gmail.com Hudson K. - Mr. Scheffler- PE schefflerkurt@yahoo.com Mary W. - Mrs. Collins -ms/hs erica89436@yahoo.com Natasha Z. - Mrs. Wafwa - 6th grade lwafwa@gmail.com Kim D. - Mrs. Decker - 3rd grade msdeckerl@gmail.com LeHi B.- Mrs. Ayotte - 4th grade janayotte@gmail.com Linda B. - Mrs. Mitchell - ms/hs bodaciousbeckybabe@yahoo.com Piper G.- Mrs. Ferrera - 2nd grade angferrera@gmail.com Abby R.- Mrs. Mitchell - ms/hs bodaciousbeckybabe@yahoo.com Brandon T. - Mr. Leavell-photography/ |
