 "some things looming" once again turns the gallery over to all functional art for the holiday season.
- No need to cart your work to another show or trying to decide whether you have time to man another exhibit. We will take care of that for you!!
The entire gallery and boutique (~500 sq ft) will be turned over to the presentation and promotion of your fine, handmade crafts.
Our beautiful space, located just a few blocks from the Goggleworks to the west and City Hall and the Court House to the east, will provide just the right opportunity for you to display and sell your work. Your work will be available and publicized not just for a weekend but for the best weeks during the most active retail time of the year.
We do all the work!
- Hours and hours transforming the gallery into a beautiful display of your work.
- We put in all the hours to keep your work available to the public.
- We handle all the press.
- Your work is fully insured while with us and we'll take care to protect it and display it to it's full advantage.
 
And a new idea for this season (OPTIONAL):
Let's offer a post holiday sale, just like the big department stores. Well, maybe not just like the department store but still an enticement to the public. This will be purely voluntary and anyone wishing to be in HH3 but not try the sale idea, can opt out of this part of the event!!!
So here's our mad scheme!!!! AFTER the holidays, from Jan 8 through Jan 26, STL will drop our commission rate by 5% to our participating artists who, for this time frame, drop their retail price by 10%. It gives us all something more to entice our customers in with and the difference to you the artist is pretty small. If we sell more, we'll ultimately make more.
One simple example:
During December: $100 item - $30.00 commission = $70.00 to the artist.
Jan Sale: 10% off $100.00 = $90.00
$90.00 - 27.50 commission = $67.50 to the artist
An observation: Last year's volume of sales were way up, but consumers seem to purchase smaller items for others while we noticeably saw them dreaming over the bigger ticket items for themselves. However....who buys for themselves before the holiday? Not too many and not in the current economic climate.
We aren't economists, we're just creative! It just might work.
