Hello friends,

We thought you'd enjoy seeing some shots of Kachina Martin's Shibori  workshop a weekend ago.  It looked like a lot of fun!  This is the last workshop for this exhibit season.  It's hard to believe that we are coming to the end of exhibit season 3.

We hope you'll make time to stop in and see   Refuse-reseen
between now and June 2nd.  It's facinating to see what artists can do with materials that normally would be sent to the landfill.  There's everything from the provocative to the whimsical to appreciate.

The fall opens with  Black,White & Red.  Entries are due July 21st. (Click here for:  BWR Prospectus)

And for the Spring show of 2013....?  We thought it would be fun to collect some of your ideas.  If you could plan an exhibit, what would the title and challenge be?  We'll collect some of the best ideas and share the more creative ones.  Lastly we'll present a few of the best and take a vote.  Click here to send us your ideas:  Name That Exhibit! - Survey  And no...there's no prize  just some fun and no....we aren't running out of fabulous ideas...........................................one of us..........um....well....thought this sounded like fun so....(don't make Melanie look like she had a bad idea). (ooops....did I say that out loud?)

Happy Mother's Day
to all the moms out there!!!!   Enjoy the weekend and all the love.  Do something nice for yourselves.  As grandma of 7, mama of 2 and Melanie - mama of 3......we both plan on propping our feet up with a rare Saturday off.  'some things looming'  is closed Saturday, May 12th. Thanks for the day off!  Do something nice for 'you' too!!!
