As our success causes Melanie to spend more hours at STL, the little people in her life also spend more time there too. I was closing up on Saturday when I discovered this little dolly taking a rest on the windowsill in the 2nd floor restroom. Obviously someone had put Mama's scraps to good use. It made me smile. I thought 'Spoon Dolly' might make you smile too.

Saturday night was girls night at Grandma's aka let's test drive part of Melanie's Tween and Teen Crochet studio.
First we helped each other measure our yarn. Thinking about the design and color all the time we worked.  We played with color and patterns of beads making several strands. As our skills picked up,We actually worked a bead into our yarn. Oooooo....they liked that look.  
And look at that. We ended up with a fun piece of fiber jewelry that doubled as a cute hair band thanks to Ruthie's innovation.
