We are excited to present Handmade Holidays 2 as we turn the gallery over to boutique space and your wonderful work.  'some things looming', a fiber arts community, opens this event to all craftsman.  It's not too soon to add this winter event into your plans.  What are you waiting for?  Start creating your inventory now!!!

"It was like having an extra show in my schedule, and I didn't have to do any of the work."  are the words we heard from one of our Handmade Holidays participants from last year.   

 

  • No need to cart your work to another show or trying to decide whether you have time to man another exhibit. We will take care of that for you!!

 

  • The entire gallery and boutique (~500 sq ft) will be turned over to the presentation and promotion of your fine, handmade crafts. 

 

  • Our beautiful space, located just a few blocks from the Goggleworks to the west and City Hall and the Court House to the east, will provide just the right opportunity for you to display and sell your work.  Your work will be available and publicized not just for a weekend but for the best weeks during the most active retail time of the year.

About some things looming

STL Gallery      The gallery, at just under 500 square feet of open space, provides a beautiful showcase for our fiber arts community.  On a regular basis we will feature curated and independent exhibitions of fiber arts.  The space has been designed with a flexible hanging system and optimal track lighting.  The beauty of a 100 year old building with its nine foot high walls and gorgeous flooring provide just the right warmth and sophisticated backdrop, maximizing the beauty and the craftsmanship of the artist's work.


Any artist who has exhibited their work knows how the art becomes transformed on a gallery wall.  How well a piece is hung and where it is placed within a gallery can change the context of a work of art.  

 At some things looming, wetake pride in providing a beautiful space, adjustable hanging system, excellent track lighting, nine foot high ceiling walls, and the flexibility to hang the artists work however needed.
