Wrap It Up
Discussing the installation with Kathryn.

For a peek behind the scenes as the installation went together, we invite you to visit our blog (see link below).  It was amazing to watch it come together.  The piece is deep and a bit somber, an interesting juxtaposition to holiday wrappings and our typical association with these objects.

knitting close upHave you always wanted to learn to knit ... here is your chance!

In this three hour workshop, learn to:   cast on, knit, purl and cast off.  There will be time to begin a project to finish at home, so bring a yarn you've always wanted to make a scarf from.

Participants will be encouraged to join us again at an Open Studio session to solve any "tangles" that might have come up and discuss other finishing techniques.

A $5 materials fee will be charged for knitting needles and yarn with which to practice and keep.
