Our mission is to be a fiber arts community.   The following are some ways in which we have chosen to nurture that community which may also interest you!  

• Students and Teachers can take classes or learn a new skill  inexpensively (geared toward middle school, high school, and adults ... (Saturday Samplers) 
• Open studio nights provide a wonderful way to reconnect with a project or feed your creative spirit ...time for you to make some art.  
• A community that provides inspiration for teaching those classes in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional media ...Great starting point for a lesson idea ...  
• Teachers with Middle to High School students can make use of the looms and on-site instructors as Muhlenberg High School is currently doing.  Working collaboratively with Melanie Mitchell, Muhlenberg students are creating painted warp self-portraits, which can be seen in progress. 
•  We like children and it's part of our mission to pass along this traditional art form to the next generation even though we often put a contemporary twist on it.  (eg:  In the past we have assisted with local scouting groups helping them to achieve their fiber arts merit badge providing information and hands on activities.)
