Listen and Link Up - October 2, 2010 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
Maybe you are an artist or maybe you wouldn't call yourself an artist....and yet....you like to create and craft and learn new things....If you pursue or enjoy the art of fiber, A2A is an evening we've designed for you.
Artist 2 Artist is about being inspired and contributing to your artistic growth. We're big fans of Alyson Stanfield author of, "I'd Rather Be In the Studio". She's got a great blog and lots of relevant content if you haven't found her yet, her blog link is below. Anyway, here's her advice on why it's important to connect.

"Your network of friends, artists, family and acquaintances is your most important asset. But don't stop there! You must keep meeting new people-those who can help with your career and enrich your life.
Always remember: It's more comfortable to introduce yourself when you're not asking for something. That's why it's important to meet people and build professional relationships before you need to ask for their help.
FINAL WORD: It's easier than ever to meet people, but it requires effort. The results will be worth your time. Don't lament that you're not connected. Do something about it!"
October 2nd is your opportunity to 'do something about it!'. Join us as Kachina Martin shares about Shibori and her time in Japan this summer. Network with other like minded individuals.
And just to help get you out your door and into ours, we have a small gift for the first guests who arrive and a door prize for those in attendance.
Everyone is welcome. Clip the coupon below and we'll give you 2 hrs of free parking at the Abe Lincoln city parking garage.
Looking forward to meeting you,
Rebekah and Melanie
