BOOK SIGNING, Saturday, December 18, 11:00 a.m., Barnes and Noble, Youree Drive, Shreveport. Dr. Donald Webb has announced the publication of "Take Bread and Cup, then Serve!"   He will greet friends, former parishioners and colleagues at a book signing at Barnes & Noble.  The book is also available at www.atlasbooks.com .  The hardcover book, published by Eucharist Press, responds to a resurgence of interest in the traditional service of Holy Communion as practiced at the Wesleyan Communion Service at Noel on the first Sunday of every month.  "Take Bread and Cup, then Serve!" follows the liturgical year with a series of sermons from the services. It also includes the liturgy used by the congregation. Dr. Webb contends that those who participate in communion should be motivated to serve others, and it is therefore appropriate that the proceeds from the book, funded by the Grayson Foundation, will support Noel Neighborhood Ministries. A portion of the proceeds will also be dedicated to perpetuating the Wesleyan service at the church.  Development of the book has been sponsored by Noel's Class of 75. On behalf of the class, Danielle Richard created the graphic design elements and Marilyn Joiner provided editing and promotion assistance.
