The Mexico Missionary crew departed Noel last Saturday night in five fully loaded vehicles.  Twenty-four eager souls descended on Mexico building cinderblock homes for families, working in a medical clinic, and helping with a baseball camp for childrenYour generous contributions made all this possible.

Highland Mardi Gras Parade

People brought their children, lawn chairs, and even their pets to see the Highland Mardi Gras Parade.  We supplied free popcorn and lemonade and fun was had by all.

It Snowed!

The Ark-La-Tex experienced snow last Thursday and Friday.  What a beautiful covering of snow, reminding us of God's love covering us!  "He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler." Psalm 91:4  Thanks to Eric McFarland for the beautiful pictures!

Blood Drive DropBLOOD DRIVE:  Keep the Ball Rolling
Noel is blessed with continued growth in church attendance.  The average Sunday worship attendance has reached over 400 individuals.  Based on current data, 60% of those (240) will need blood within their lifetimes, yet only 6 percent (24) donate blood.  Fortunately, we at Noel do a little better than the average of 6%!

I thank those who have given and presently give to others so unselfishly. Truly, they are following 2 Corinthians 8:11, "Having started the ball rolling so enthusiastically, you should carry this project through to completion just as gladly, giving whatever you can out of whatever you have."

I invite all Noel members who are able to give to join with us to "keep the ball rolling."  See you at the Blood Drive on February 28!

Food Pantry Hours are Monday-Thursday and Saturdays, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Did you know that Noel's Food Pantry helps fire and flood victims get back on their feet?  In 2009 we gave out 66 Starter Kits to families who live in Northwest Louisiana.  So far in 2010, we have distributed four.

In addition to food, we provide personal items, cleaning supplies, dishes, towels, and bed linens.  If you have any gently used towels or bed linens, we could use them.  Thank you!
