April 11 was a huge success! About 260 people attended at Sag Harbor's 300-seater Bay Street Theatre. Sory Koite's Balafon Band captured the crowd's attention with their extraordinarily beautiful music, which included two songs written especially for the occasion. I received great feedback! People were moved by the film, asked many interesting questions and were impressed with Tostan's work in Senegal and with the Senegalese people who show themselves so willing and able to bring about their desired social change through human rights learning.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended! I raised enough money to pay the band and cover the theatre costs. Yipee!!!I will keep you posted as to future screenings and developments. Any suggestions for marketing or film festival connections will be very welcome!
