Worship Ministry

The purpose of ministry through worship is to engage the congregation's hearts, minds and spirits in a time of corporate praise where God is the sole focus of our adoration. As believers united together by our commonality in Christ we come as "living stones" indwelt by the Holy Spirit as the true temple of God bringing spiritual sacrifices acceptable to Him through Jesus Christ (1 Pet. 2:4-5).

Wellington Worship Choir

You are receiving this email because you have previously been a part of the choir or have expressed an interest in being part of a choir at Wellington. Last spring we had great fellowship among those who came together and committed to singing to the glory of the Lord. This year I want to continue these relationships and create new ones as we join once per week on Sunday afternoons at 4:45 for an hour of rehearsal and small group fellowship. Musically we will prepare for a Christmas presentation during our annual church banquet. Socially we will strive to know one another better in an effort to be the "one another's" of scripture; supporting, coming along side and praying. And spiritually we will seek to know God more and what it is to worship Him. I look forward to a great group. If you have ideas/suggestions on how to make our time effective towards the means mentioned above please let me know. Our first rehearsal is this Sunday! See you there and bring a friend!

The Worship choir is a group of people who enjoy singing with the primary purpose of glorifying God through music.

The choir is a great place to serve, connect and glorify God.
