Guest Speaker Joani Geltman Presents This Week
joani geltmanJoani Geltman, MSW, an expert in the field of child development and parenting, has been working with parents, children, universities, schools, and private and public companies for over 30 years. Ms Geltman has developed a presentation especially designed for parents on understanding their child's cognitive and emotional and social development. This popular presentation, entitled Adolescent Psychology- The Parent Version has been offered at many private and public schools and for community groups and is in great demand at schools and community groups all over Massachusetts.  This presentation, sponsored by the QMS Parent Advisory Council, will be given locally this Thursday night, October 14 at 7:00 pm in the QMS Auditorium.

The presentation will explore physical, cognitive, and social/emotional changes that occur in adolescence and how they affect relationships with parents and friends as well as school life.
It promises to be a humorous and informative evening.  We hope to see you there!

The Mansfield Holiday Inn is booked for November 6, 2010, and Peter Conti, (Mansfield High School Band Director) is working with the reunion committee to have the band alumni at the Friday November 5, 2010 home football game vs. Franklin.

The alumni that have been contacted through Facebook and Classmates.com have shown a tremendous interest in participating in this once in a lifetime event. Barbara Kuzdzol (TEL: 508 695 5791) or Jim Gallo (TEL: 941 426 6035) will gladly send you a registration form and reunion information.

We are really looking forward to seeing the great students, band parents and faculty, who devoted so much time over the years to make the band program such a success. Tell your friends and please try to attend. We might even try one last march down Main Street!
