MHS Athletic User Fees for 2010-11
 
Here is the breakdown of the 2010-11 per season athletic user fees for Mansfield High School. 
 
  1. The athletic fee for the first season your child participates will be $ 125.
  2. The athletic fee for the second season your child participates will be $125.
  3. The athletic fee for the third season your child participates will be $125.
  4. The maximum cost an individual student athlete to participate in three seasons of athletics for 2010-11 athletic year will be $375.
  5. There will be a family cap of $400 for families with one or more athletes.
For example: You have a son and daughter enrolled at MHS. Your daughter participates in field hockey in the fall ($125) and lacrosse in the spring ($125). Her cost to participate  will be $250.  Your son is a three-sport athlete competing in the fall (soccer), winter (basketball) and spring (track).  His cost to participate will be $150. Your family athletic fee cost will be $400 for the school year. 
 
WHEN WILL THE MONEY BE COLLECTED
 
All fall athletes fee payments will be collected August 17-19 from 9:00-11:00 am in the high school cafeteria. If the athletic fee is not received by the first day of practice, the athlete will not be able to participate in practice or tryouts.

Payment must be received by August 19th.
 
CHECKS AND MONEY ORDERS ARE MADE OUT TO
 
Checks and money orders will be made out to Mansfield High School. No cash will be accepted.
 
 
MY CHILD IS TRYING OUT FOR A TEAM, WHEN DO I MAKE PAYMENT?

 
All athletic fees must be paid before an athlete can tryout. All athletes trying out for FIELD HOCKEY, VOLLEYBALL,  GOLF, GIRLS' AND BOYS' SOCCER  will have their athletic fee reimbursed if they are cut from the team and do not participate in another fall sport. Checks will be mailed home 48 hours after rosters are announced for the sports that cut. Checks for athletes who made fall teams will be deposited 48 hours after rosters are announced.
 
MY CHILD IS PARTICIPATING IN A SPORT THAT DOES NOT MAKE CUTS
 
Once the FOOTBALL and GIRLS' AND BOYS' CROSS COUNTRY coaches finalize their rosters, checks will be deposited and the athletic user fee is no longer refundable after deposited.
 
MY DAUGHTER PARTICIPATES IN THE CHEER PROGRAM
 
The fall CHEERLEADING roster is set and all cheer athletes will pay $125 to participate in their first practice. 
 
The only athletes eligible for athletic fee waiver or a reduced fee must be participating in the free and reduced lunch program.
