 This is Senior Week at Mansfield High School!

This week marks the annual "Senior Week" at MHS which will culminate in the school's 132nd annual Commencement Exercises on Sunday, June 6.  The activities are as follows:
 
Tuesday, June 1 
Scholarship Night, MHS Auditorium, 7:00 pm
 
Wednesday, June 2 
Graduation Rehearsal, 8:00 am- All graduating seniors should report to the MHS Auditorium
 
Thursday, June 3
Class Day Exercises, MHS Gym, 8:00 am- All graduating seniors should report to the auditorium by 7:30 am.
 
Senior Boat Cruise, Boston Harbor, 5:00-11:00 pm- Seniors should arrive at MHS by 4:00 pm
 
Friday, June 4
Senior Continental Breakfast & Graduation Rehearsal, 8:00 am- MHS cafeteria
 
Senior All Night Party, 11:00 pm-5:00 am
 
Sunday, June 6
Mansfield High School Commencement Exercises, Comcast Center for the Performing Arts, 1:00 pm.  All seniors should report to Comcast by 11:45 am.
Project Teammate Celebrates Another Successful Year

On Friday, May 14th, MHS held its 10th annual Project Teammate Breakfast.  The breakfast is a culminating activity for the Project Teammate program which pairs regular and special education students to improve team-building and communication skills through activities such as sports and school-related jobs. Families, Administration, teachers and friends joined together for speeches, breakfast, a slideshow and even a little bit of dancing. The students did a tremendous job organizing and helping to set up the event. Seniors and other students made heartfelt speeches about their experiences and favorite parts of Project Teammate. Various staff, administration, and students were recognized for their hard work that helps make Project teammate the success it is.
MHS Holds Tri-M Music Honor Society Induction Ceremony

On May 19, 2010, Mansfield High School held its first ever Tri-M Music Honor Society induction ceremony. Tri-M, which stands for Modern Music Masters, is a nationally recognized music honor society and includes students who show great leadership, scholarship, and excellence in musical ensembles in the Mansfield High School community. Over the course of the school year, Tri-M students were involved in multiple community service events including running coffeehouse events for high school musicians to perform at, as well as mentoring middle school instrumental students. Tri-M will continue to grow in our school community as more musicians continue to take more active roles in the school and in the town. The 2010 Tri-M Honor Society class is made up of the following 44 MHS students:  Alex Clinton, Tony Cutillo, Emily Levine, Jamie Mortensen, Jonathan Sirota, Khalai Diaby, Anne Claire Grammer, Sean Duffy, Kayla Allen, Sarah Davidson, Michaela Driscoll, Brian Feeley, Matthew Grina*, Samuel Harchik, Jill Holland, Brad Leuchte, Nicole Lynch, Mariah McGrath, Ryan McKinnon, Allison Passanisi*, Eric Pederson, Megan Pillsbury, Daniel Raney, Pritha Ray, Sarah Shear*, Beka Unger, Lindsey White, Walter Xu*, Alyson Bowler, Jacklyn Brintnall, Melissa Burke, Dominique Clark, Brian Franklin*, Adam Greenberg*, Rachel Johnston, Sarah Joncas, Sangeetha Kavety*, Rebecca Levine*, Kathryn Maleiko. mhs logoIn an effort to raise money for the MHS Sports programs, the Mansfield All-Sports Boosters has signed up for the Responsible Sports Program offered by Liberty Mutual.
 
Here is your chance to make a difference in the Mansfield sports program!

The top 6 organizations with the most users taking the Sports Parenting Quiz will receive $5,000 for their sports program from Liberty Mutual. 

The contest ends TODAY and the current 6th place school has 150 quizzes (1st place has 183).  MHS is presently in 2nd place!

We can realistically win this!!  You can forward this quiz to anyone with a valid email.

A summary of the steps is below: 

1. Go to the Responsible Sports website by clicking HERE.

2. Select the "Responsible Sports Parenting" entry in list on right of page.
3. You can jump straight to the Responsible Sports Parenting Quiz (5th entry) or read the entire guide which takes about 15 minutes.
 
4. After taking the quiz you will have multiple opportunities, if necessary, to correct your answers and resubmit.

5. After successfully completing the quiz, create an account.

6. Reply to the Email verification - don't forget to check your Email Spam folder

7. Once the verification reply registers, you can select "My Fan Page" and then credit the Mansfield All-Sports Booster Club.
