Student of the Month
Frenchie D'agostino
Frenchie's love for music began early in life. When she was born she was very sick and her parents were told she wouldn't survive. At that time a family friend said they heard her singing in a dream. That dream started to become reality when she would walk around the house singing as soon as she could speak. She began piano lessons at the age of six. Her fifth grade teacher noticed her singing voice and gave her the role of Belle in "Beauty and the Beast". Soon after that she began her voice lessons at Soundstage with Monique Canniere. About a year ago she decided to take up another instrument and started guitar with Carol Tileston. She has also taken up the Ukulele.
Frenchie is also a premier athlete, playing soccer for Ukrainian Nationals Krush and winning a national title with that team in a tournament in Washington DC. She also plays for Upper Dublin High School. In addition she plays basketball and maintains good grades while studying in honors level classes. She loves spending time traveling and visiting family in Louisiana, Canada and Italy. She loves adventure and spent time last summer hiking and ziplining over Grouse Mountain in Vancouver. She loves the laid back atmosphere at Soundstage. As she continues to focus on her classical piano lessons, she also enjoys coming to Soundstage and having artistic freedom to explore other genres of music. With only two more years before she is off to college, music will continue to play a huge role in her life as she has decided to major in Music Education.

What families are saying about SoundStage
Our daughter Amanda loves working with her voice teacher, Katie Eagleson. They have a great time during lessons and work diligently together to prepare for concerts and to help Amanda grow as a singer. Plus, Katie is a professional performer so Amanda really looks up to her. Our other daughter Mollie loves her drum teacher, Paul Deck. He makes the lesson interactive and fun! They jam together and always sound awesome and oh-so loud! The staff at SoundStage is very accommodating. We have also participated in the summer camp and it was a wonderful way to show kids how to work together as a band. SoundStage has been a great match for our family! We highly recommend the school! - Heather & Ron Maltin |
