Brenna 
Brenna Young  lives in New Smyrna Beach, FL.  She has a background working in Child Welfare - making her a great fit for us here at the Junior League.  She has two daughters, and her hobbies include reading and anything related to making the world a better place for Children in need.

 
 
Jessica Fulton (no photo available)
 lives in New Smyrna Beach, FL.  She is a Teacher in the Flagler Co School system and comes to us to give back to the community!  She enjoys sewing, scrapbooking, crafting and reading.

Community Announcements
A special thank you to all of the volunteers that have helped with the Community Projects in the past couple of months.  Without our special volunteers our Back on Track, Project WARM, Homeless Assistance Center,  PACE Thanksgiving Luncheon, Community Baby Shower would not be as successful as they are!
 

The Great Kids Explorer Club
We will be taking food donations the month of November and December
We are asking that if your last name starts with A-L that you bring Peanut Butter and Jelly by the League office and members whose last name's begin with M-Z that you bring a box of "kid friendly" cereal by the Junior League office. We are also are in need of medium round laundry baskets.
 
You will receive 1 community hour for every $25.00 donation. Thank you so much for helping these wonderful children in Volusia County over their holiday break. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact: Jeanna Butler at 386 255.6447 or [email protected]
 
Help Facepaint
This will be a really fun event. Bring the family and help with face painting if you wish!
The Early Learning Coalition is holding a book fest event:
Daytona Beach Winter Book Fest & Writers' Workshop
Saturday, December 5th
Daytona State College
Children's activities run from 9:00am-1:00pm (let me know what times you are available). This is a great way to support a community partner, bring your children if you wish and obtain community hours!  Please contact Mary Beth Nichols at [email protected]  or 506-9838 with questions.
 
Put on the shopping shoes to help Back on Track! 
We will have our next shopping session on Wednesday, December 9 from 9:30-noon.  This is a wonderful experience that allows us to assist women in obtaining work appropriate clothing.  Contact Mary Beth with any questions at [email protected] or 506.9838. You will receive either Community Hours or Thrift Shop hours.

Sweetheart Ball

Registration begins November 30, and are $85 per couple, $35 for
additional daughters. Reserved tables and sponsorship opportunities are
available, but space is limited.

This annual father/daughter formal dinner and dance is a signature
fundraiser for the Junior League, with proceeds benefiting organizations such as the Children's Advocacy Center, PACE Center for Girls and Children's Home Society.

The Junior League Thrift Shop, on Orange Avenue in Daytona Beach, provides a valuable community service and is the League's primary fundraiser. The Thrift Shop also collaborates with several agencies to provide professional work attire for women entering back into the work force through our Back On Track Program. Thanks for your support!
