MediaThe 2010 RCYC Media Campaign

The 2010 Media Campaign has begun!  During the months of February and March, you will see the powerful "Silence is Permission' Billboards in the City of Racine.  In addition you will see posters in local businesses, faith organizations, schools, and many other important partners and organizations around Racine County.  The goal of the campaign is to increase community understanding of where young people access alcohol, the harm of alcohol in the community, and what action can be taken to prevent underage alcohol use.

Thank you to everyone who has helped with the start of the campaign.  Anyone who is interested in hanging a poster or including a digital proof (like the one you see below) in a newsletter, mailing, or website can contact Seth Kuranz or Holland Doperalski at (262) 632-6200.

HostloseParent Who Host Lose the Most

The Racine County Youth Coalition has been selected by the State of Wisconsin as one of 47 Counties to receive FREE materials to conduct the Parents Who Host Lose the Most Program.  The program will be officially kicking off in April. It will include a strong marketing effort to increase Racine County's understanding of the possible legal and health consequences of serving, providing or furnishing alcohol to underage youth.

In addition to marketing efforts, the Coalition will be able to coordinate efforts to speak with parent groups across Racine County.  If you would like to help make presentations, or connect a parent group with our efforts, please contact Seth Kuranz at (262) 632-6200.
