October Monthly Luncheon
Our October monthly luncheon held on Wednesday, October 20th was sponsored by the City of Grand Prairie, Department of Parks and Recreations "Prairie Light". Our guest speaker Dr. Susan Hull, Grand Prairie Independent School District Superintendent invited students to perform during the luncheon and assist in making the State of the School address.

Pastor Perry Crenshaw with Church on the Move receives his plaque from Branding Iron, Prudence Mathis, Branding Iron Chairperson, Chairman of the Board, Clayton Fisher and Branding Iron Deborah Hepworth an Independent Beauty Consultant.  Bruce Stabb with R.L. Stein Insurance & Financial Services receives his plaque from Branding Irons, Richard Whitman with Texas Trust Credit Union, Prudence Mathis, Branding Iron Chairperson, and Chairman of the Board, Clayton Fisher.  Brooke Boleyn receives her plaque from Branding Irons, Sandi Morrison with Commerce Title, Prudence Mathis, Branding Iron Chairperson and Chairman of the Board, Clayton Fisher.

Congratulation West Fork Presbyterian Church

West Fork Presbyterian Church celebrated their 140th anniversary on Sunday, October 17th. The church is located at 908 Santerre Dr. in Grand Prairie. The celebration began with presentation of the colors by men dressed in civil war uniforms representing the North & South, followed by history, proclamations by various city and state officials and hymnal songs. The ceremony concluded with Taps played in remembrance of deceased church members Among those who were on hand for the celebration were Ruthe Jackson, Mayor Pro Tem, State Representatives Kirk England and Paula Pierson.
