Presidents Corner
We are
getting excited about the Taste of Grand Prairie & Community Spotlight
coming to QuikTrip
Park on Thursday,
September 23rd. The Senior hour is from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. This allows
our seniors to get a good parking space, get through the booths before the
crowd hits and find a perch so they can enjoy the festivities. We are open to
the general public from 5:00 - 8:30 p.m. Tickets are reasonable at $10.00 for
Adults and $5.00 for Senior Citizens and Students. Kids 5 and under are free. Family packs
include 2 adult tickets and 2 student or Senior tickets for $25.00. Quite a
bargain considering the value!
We've been
asked why we added the "Community Spotlight". We wanted to give community businesses an avenue to meet potential
consumers face to face and we wanted the surrounding area to know what great
resources are available nearby. We hope you will find the best of both worlds! If
not, Don't worry! You will not go away
hungry!
On another
note, the Board of Directors is getting ready to start planning for 2011. We are happy to welcome Dave Burke, of CV
Premiere as the 2011 Chairman of the Board. If you have ideas or suggestions to
offer, let us know. We are here to
create the best environment we can for our business community because...
