Chairman's Corner
This year is rapidly moving forward, and before we know it, it will be 2011. With that, the Chamber is already making plans for the 2011 calendar year. As we are doing so, we would like to encourage you, the Chamber member, to let us know if there is anything we can help with or discuss for next year's Program of Work. As our mission is to promote, strengthen and expand the business community in Grand Prairie, we would like to hear ideas that can support our mission.
The 2010 Taste of Grand Prairie is just a month away. On September 23rd at QuikTrip Park, over 50 exhibitors will be showcasing the BEST of what they have to offer. This is going to be a great event that you can bring the whole family to. There will be a public silent auction, door prizes, a Carter Blood Drive, plenty of goodies from all the booths, as well as a fireworks spectacular after the event. What else could you ask for? Thank you to those who have already signed up to either sponsor or participate in the event. A special thanks to Triangle Payment Systems who is the Title Sponsor of the 2nd annual event.

Busines Exchange Breakfast
Mark your calendar for the second Friday of each month and join us for the Business Exchange Breakfast. If you want to get to know other Chamber members who can and will help you grow your business through qualified leads and referrals, this is the place for you!
On Friday, August 13th we held our monthly morning networking event, Business Exchange Breakfast, which was sponsored by the University of Texas at Arlington. Thank you!
We meet at 7:45 a.m. on the second Friday of each month at the Chamber. Come grow your business with us! Our next Business Exhange Breakfast will be on September 10, 2010.
Bring $1 and plenty of your business cards. You may also bring a door prize to be given at the end of this meeting.
