We - as a business community - pulled our resources and assisted the GPPD Directed Patrol Unit (DPU) in purchasing equipment and supplies for Sara, the DPU's first narcotic detection canine. The specialized equipment needed is expensive, but mandatory to ensure that sirens and alarms notify the handlers of certain situations, such as the car stalling and the HVAC system shutting off leaving no air for the dog. Training gear is always needed by the dedicated handlers in order to properly train and take care of the animals. The list of items go on ...
I am again asking you to consider making a donation to help offset these many expenses of specialized equipment and supplies. If you are interested, please contact me as any assistance is greatly appreciated.
