HAPPY NEW YEAR!

First off, let me say how excited I am to be able to serve as the 2010 Chairman of the Board. I look forward to the opportunity to 2010 as I think it will be a great year for everyone. In 2010, the Chamber is celebrating our 65^th Anniversary of Incorporation in a City where we have just celebrated our Centennial. Our new tag line "We Mean Business" says it all. Our goal in 2010 is to become a resource to the business community.  We will accomplish this by opening doors for business to market, network and create relationships in business.

We have an amazing Program of Work in 2010 that we are all anxious to share with everyone, starting with the Annual Community Awards Dinner which will be held, Thursday, January 14^th at the Ruthe Jackson Center at 6:00 p.m. The ticket price is $55.00 for this Evening at the Oscars. Come out and see the Stars and Heroes of our community as they are recognized for their contributions to making Grand Prairie a great place to work, live and play. I hope you can come out and join us for this special event.
