Greetings!
It's been a busy summer here at Jenny Lyon Studios. I've offically joined the ranks of parenthood. I'm proud to annouce the arrival of my new daughter Sophie. And I'm excited to have work included in four exhibitions coming up. Three of the exhibits are national, which is great news for both my work and for the value of my clients' paintings. This fall, I will be working on several new commissions, including children, teens, and dogs.

Introducing Sophie

Jenny will be on maternity leave until October after which she hopes to have her new assistant sleeping through the night and patiently observing artwork during the day.

New Work
Lindsay, oil on linen, 18" x 14"  |
I recently unveiled this oil vignette of Lindsay.
Lindsay was an
incredible model, patiently holding a variety of poses and subtle
variations until we settled on the final composition. Working with a
warmer color palette and looser finish was wonderfully liberating. The oil sketch I
initially did for this painting was recently included in the Portrait
Society of Atlanta's Spring Exhibition. --Jenny
