Leslie's The Tavern At Rockingham
Leslie's The Tavern At Rockingham
Without a doubt, one of the most difficult aspects of running a business is the marketing. People are very selective as to where they get their information and getting out in front of people is now more difficult and expensive. Our newsletter is best way we know of to inform you of what is going on at Leslie's. Because we don't want to another obnoxious solicitation for Valentine's Day I will get to the point!
This year Valentine's Day falls on a Monday. We expect to be busy Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evening . In recent years we decided to limit the number of reservations on special event evenings. We want everything to go smoothly and every meal be perfect. So our suggestion is that if you are planning a night out at Leslie's this weekend, please call very soon for reservations. We will fill up for all three night. Thanks..the end of my marketing!!  802-463-4929 or on-line at www.lesliestavern.com
Cooking classes have been going very well with many people signing up for additional classes. Getting the word out about our classes is again the biggest challenge. Advertising in newspapers is too expensive and the internet is a busy place where information is often lost or overlooked. We will continue to post new classes on-line at www.lesliestavern.com ..and look forward to your continued support.

        Menu
We basically keep our regular menu (which we like to think is special already)and regular prices and do a couple of new dishes as well. This year we'll include a fresh Maine Lobster Tail with our jumbo sea scallops served with lemon risotto. We are also now serving Vermont Family Farm organic (anti-biotic free) tenderloin of pork  Spicy cider-bourbon sauce.  Look for a splendid seafood special to be on our menu.. Weather  may dictate that choice. We will also offer a vegetarian special.
