We have some wonderful items on our menu for "Mother's Day" that we think will please the entire family... Our "new " appetizers include bruschetta with fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil..we have also included our own smoked-slow cooked bbq. ribs as an appetizer.. Our new arugula and Vermont chevre salad and mesclun salads are new and quite popular. On the entree side...with all the nice weather we have had, stir fry sautes have been the most popular. Our seared scallops with lemon-pepper risotto or our Thai shrimp dish with stir-fry vegetables, or chicken with tomatoes, arugula, and chevre tossed with fettuccine. We now offer a Black Angus Sirloin with chimichurri sauce that was the most popular steak in our "steak class".. Summer Atlantic flounder (our favorite fish for spring) will be one our specials. Cavendish Game Birds "quail" stuffed with dried cherries and served with a bourbon apple chutney sauce will be the other special. Of course rack of lamb, duck, our greatest and latest chicken dish will also adorn our menu for "Mother's Day. Leslie will be busy baking a variety of delights for dessert including her ever popular "carrot cake' and creme brulee.. You can expect other decadent desserts to be available as well. We'll also have some yummy items for the kids...which would include pizza, burgers, chicken fingers and pasta dishes. If you prefer, we can split an entree for two young people.
