July Special--Just For Camps We have received dozens upon dozens of emails from camps who have spots open. Obviously, sponsoring a daily newsletter is your best bet since you are the first thing everyone sees each day when they read their list & there is no limit on characters, you can add logos/photos, etc. However, we realize that money is tight all around right now so during the week of July 13, we will run camp information all week long in our daily lists for just $25 (breaks down to $5/day). This means that we will run your camp information every day for 5 days in the main list. There are some limitations (about character maximum). If you want to receive double exposure, you can sponsor a newsletter AND take advantage of this special. If you are interested in participating, please send an email to leslie@parkcityjane.com. We need all information by July 10 in order to participate.
Oscar Litwak Foundation
Formed to honor the memory of Oscar Litwak, who died from cancer at the age of 4, by providing children requiring hospitalization and/or long-term medical treatment the opportunity to find an environment that is familiar, non-threatening and fun. The mission of the Oscar Litwak Foundation is to improve the quality of life of sick children while receiving long term medical treatment. The Foundation strives to make the child's stay in the hospital as enjoyable and comfortable as possible by creating fun playroom environments and establishing recreational programs in pediatric clinics in the United States. The Oscar Litwak Foundation creates portable playrooms that provide much needed joy and entertainment to hospitalized children. These Mobile Playrooms are specially manufactured carts filled with toys, books, arts and crafts material that can be wheeled from one room to the next, serving a great number of patients. For my twins 4th birthday coming up, we have asked all of the children to bring unwrapped art supplies to help stock an art cart instead of bringing gifts. I told Ben and Josh I would take them to pick out something at Toys R Us as a thank you for sharing their birthday with the Oscar Litwak Foundation. The mobile playrooms will be placed in pediatric institutions that do not have playroom facilities or where children, due to physical limitations, diagnosis or medical treatment are not able to leave their room. To this day, they have shipped 50 units to Children's Hospitals and clinics across the country and 1 to Israel. For more information, www.OscarLitwakFoundation.org

Sponsorships: Would
you like to help support Park City Jane's List and advertise your
business at the same time? Then imagine your business ad right here,
seen by 500 moms in Park City (and growing daily). We only run one
sponsorship a day at the
top of each daily newsletter. Due to the current economic conditions we have new advertising rates: $50 for 1 daily sponsorship ($45/day if you buy 3 or more). If you are a Park City Moms Group Member, (must be current with your membership), we have a discounted rate available: $40 for 1 daily sponsorship ($35/day if you buy 3 or more). For more information, please email leslie@parkcityjane.com.
Contribute To List: We want you to send us your information to include in our daily lists: available nanny/babysitter (or need for a babysitter/nanny), a fun place/event to take your children for fun (especially if free), a great place for mom's night out, fun crafts to do with your kids, that awesome new exercise class you have taken, your garage sale, items you wish to sell, great recipe, funny video, sentimental poem, great gift ideas, important safety information, etc. We also LOVE to receive announcements (birth, press coverage of a local mom or business, etc) and will always be happy to post them. We
want to keep the legitimacy, integrity and fun of Jane's List intact so
we'll never make a dime off your meal at a restaurant nor a penny from
the sale of the latest toy we told you about. And we ask the same in
return: all submissions about a product or business to Jane's List
should follow the same guideline (that you not affiliated with the
business). You can submit your requests to us at kristy@parkcityjane.com ATTN: Jane's List Item. Please make sure that you give us plenty of advance notice (we require a week in advance to guarantee posting your information).
And, no, we would never sell our subscriber list to anyone--that would be lame.
